10/31/08 ***Due to unexpected but good news (baby girl on the way!!!), lack of planning and shortage of money we will have to hold off until next year to make our lights dance :(
Like the old saying goes "There's always next year" Although bummed about it, we are very excited about our little one on the way and having someone else to share our lights with and the wonderful season of Christmas.

11/27/08 - Today is the big day and all the lights are up! Very much looking forward to dark time to flip the switch!!! We are running a static display once again with a little over 5,000 lights up and a few new pieces like: Jesus is the reason for the season (wireframe), 4 - 4ft. Rope Light trees,a lighted Merry Christmas sign, a lighted wreath on the garage and 2 strands of garland on the car port post.

12/30/08 - Well the lights are off and tucked away. We hope everyone had a great Christmas. In 24 hours we can all look forward to a fresh start and new beginings for some. I know we look forward to 2009 with the birth of our daughter in March!!! Hopefully the economy will turn around sooner in 2009 than later, but all we can do is pray and leave it in God's hands. Let's let Christ shine in 2009!!! God bless you all.

As for my favorite sale of the year (The day after Christmas) what I like to call MY Black Friday!!!! I spread it out over the week after Christmas and spent about $300 (Saving $300 at the same time) and spent mostly only the money I got for Christmas. 2009 we will be having an animated light show and are now up to right around 25,000 lights for 2009!!! Is it time yet??? hehehe.

10/28/09 - Well, as of Monday 11/2/09 we will unload everything from storage and start hanging lights. Mainly in the trees & bushes to begin with. Thanks to the lovely flood we had in Septemeber, I get a new roof out of the deal! So I have to leave the roof decorating until mid November. I am very excited about our fist year of running an animated display and hope it all works out "as planned" but nothing ever does, right. I'm sure I will run into some snags but I have great freinds who will lend a hand if I get in a jam...(Thanks Joey). I will keep updating the progress here as we move closer to flipping the switch, stay tuned!

11/30/09 - Well as expected we ran into a few issue's and got two days behind but the lights are now on thru New Year's Night! If you do stop by plase remember to drop a donation for Children's Heatcare of Atlanta. Thanks and from Shane, Brandy & Annamaire we wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!
